The prestigious Condé Nast Traveler magazine announced the winners of its Readers´ Choice Awards, with Tierra Chiloé awarded 4th Best Resort in South America, and the three other Tierra Hotels among the Top 20 Resorts in the region.
The Tierra Hotels are located in the world’s driest desert, the Chiloé archipelago, and in the Patagonian Pampa, and this year, they were recognized among the 20 best resorts in South America by readers of the Condé Nast Traveler magazine.
The magazine, which received opinions from over 600,000 readers, recognized Tierra Chiloé as the 4th best resort in South America and “probably the coolest hotel in Chile”. Tierra Patagonia and Tierra Atacama were also recognized within the ranking, in the 7th and 18th position, respectively. Criteria for this award consider the guest’s complete experience, from the hotel design, to the facilities, and location, as well as service, food offer and trips.
“We are very happy to receive this recognition in all of the Tierra hotels, especially in Chiloé, which is a debutant on the list, and is positioned as #1 hotel in Chile according to Condé Nast”, says Miguel Purcell, Tierra Hotels CEO. “Having our three hotels recognized by the magazine’s readers reflects the devoted work of our team and our mission to provide each guest an attractive and authentic experience”.
The Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards are the industry’s oldest and most prestigious ones, known as “the best of the best of travel”. The complete list of winners can be found here.
